Consider how Islam is similar to and different from Judaism and Christianity.
Take a moment to refresh your understanding of the Qur'an within the Islamic tradition. Respond to the following questions:
a) What is the origin and importance of the Qur'an?
b) Discuss the central beliefs of Islam, and provide examples of how they are reflected in the Five Pillars.
c) Consider the distinct Muslim groups. How are those groups similar, and how are they different?
d) What, if any, threats do Islamic traditions face in a more secular world?
