1. What is the One Health concept?
2. How do the proponents of the One Health concept propose to achieve their goals? (Review the Mission and Vision Statements.)
3. Read the attached article for the assignment titled: "From public to planetary health: a manifesto," and read the manifesto. Then, read the opposition correspondence from the One Health Initiative pro bono team that was published in reaction to the manifesto article in the Lancet. Briefly summarize the position of the One Health pro bono team and the reasons given for why they oppose the "manifesto."
4. From the One Health website again, click the link for ProMed Outbreak Reports. Choose a report from this year, and briefly describe it (in one or two paragraphs).
5. Go to the link for Animal Diseases and Humans. Read the document titled: Practicing "One Health" for the Human Health Clinician (Physicians, Osteopaths, Physician Associates, Nurse Practitioners, Other Human Health Care Providers) - April 2012.
