Assignment
Each student must evaluate a work of art (American Film Institute 100 film musical) through Analysis with a description of the musical. melody, dynamics, harmony, tempo,rhythm, and what instruments and voices involved. The assignment must be a 900 word essay with bibliography on one of the American Film Institute's top 100 film musicals. Specific assignment questions will address the film's historic significance, artist value, and musical contributions.
