Preparing to discuss any case involves several steps:
• Read it, take notes in the margins, and organize some of your notes (for example, construct a timeline).
• Analyze the facts, drawing on frameworks or theories presented in the class.
• Formulate appropriate, actionable recommendations for the case decision-maker(s).
• Consider, what is the key issue? What is your recommendation? How would you justify the recommendation with facts from the case or other research you've considered?
Once you have analyzed the case, post a short answer to the third question (What should Sadlemire tell the Board of Trustees at the June meeting? Answer with fewer than one and half).

Bring your marked-up case and preparation notes (preferably, printed on paper so you can easily add notes to them) to class.
You will need these during our discussion, to refresh your memory of case facts and your analysis.
