In our description of the Window field in the TCP header, we said: Notice that if the receiver's application is running very slowly, say it's pulling data one or two bytes at a time from its buffer, the TCP process running at the receiver should wait until the application buffer is empty enough to justify sending another segment.
What is the "justification" for sending another segment?
