Based on reading assignment, identify at least three examples of government document databases and, in your own words, summarize their uses in reporting and research as well as some of the advantages and disadvantages of using them.

Visit Federal Open Government Guide and USDOJ: OIP: Freedom of Information Act Guide, May 2004. Based on the information in your textbooks and these websites, what is the Freedom of Information Act and who may use it? Are there exemptions to disclosure of information under the F.O.I.A?
Then, visit First Amendment Center and provide examples of at least two F.O.I.A. requests you found. Does F.O.I.A .go far enough or too far regarding the disclosure of documents?
