Assignment: Scientific Discovery/Invention Slideshow

1. Select a scientific discovery or invention that you think is awesome. This must be a different discovery/invention than either of you reported on for your HW #12 Science Article presentation.
2. Research the topic:
a) What is the discovery/invention, when was it discovered/invented, who discovered/invented it?
b) How does it work? Be specific about the science of how it works.
c) What are the applications?
d) How has it benefitted mankind?
3. Prepare a PowerPoint or Google slides slideshow to share this information. Assume your audience is your classmates that has been studying science all semester long. Your presentation must be between 10 and 20 slides in length. It must address all the questions above and must meet all the requirements outlined.
4. Include a list of at least 4 references (at least half of them should be from reputed journals or news sources).
