• What is the difference between sex and gender? How are sex and gender conflated within our culture? Why might it matter?
• Tell people that you're taking a Women's Studies class and pay attention to their responses. What assumptions do people make about feminism? What assumptions did you bring with you to this class? Why are so many people reluctant to identify as feminists?
• Why is it important to recognize patriarchy as a system and not an individual identity?
