Discuss how some theorists disagree on what should be changed, such as thought, behaviors, feelings or rules of interaction. What do you think is most important? Why? Which type of change has been most meaningful for you?

What is the difference between empathy and sympathy to you? Do you think sympathy is appropriate in the therapeutic context? If so, how? Can anyone give a good reason not to be empathetic in therapy?
