4. How does one calculate the number of Kanban needed in a production system? (Please show all the equations necessary. This should be 2-4 paragraphs in length or one page)

- Abstract - summary of the entire paper
- Introduction - an explanation of what this paper will be about
- Review of Literature - information from five sources on what Kanban and push and pull systems are. (No direct quotes will be accepted from any source)
- You must have at least five sources
- Two sources must come from a journal or conference article
- Kanban Formula Calculation Section- formula for calculating Kanban and an explanation of all the variables used.
- Conclusion - an explanation of why you think Kanban is a push or a pull type production control system.
