Project Assignment -
Project Details are as follows:
-Select two products/services, one should be local (made/delivered by a UAE firm) and the second should be made/delivered by a firm outside the UAE.
-By conducting a survey among the UAE nationals and expatriates we should analyze the Country of Origin Effect of the selected brands among different segments in the local market.
-We should use power point.
In the power point slides we should cover the following steps:
1. Profile of the firm - Brand Elements (brand element includes Brand Name and Brand Logo) - History of the Brand - Story of the Logo.
2. Identify the brand extensions and architecture.
3. We should do an online survey selecting 25 respondents for each brand, so total of two surveys and 50 respondents minimum.
4. Conclusion- Summarize and say what we have learned from this assignment.
The survey should include these questions:
1. Ethnic:
- Arab
- Asian
- American
- European
- African
2. Give your preference of product/service. For example if our product is a bank the question should be which is your preferred bank?
- Name five Different products including the two brands we are covering in the assignment.
3. What is the country of origin of the first brand?
- Name five different countries one of which is the country of the brand we are covering
4. What is the country of origin of the second brand?
