Course Project Part I: When applying for most Federal and State programs and grants you are required to submit a great deal of detailed information on your community. Much of this is developed from the community's threat assessment and identification of critical infrastructures and key resources. This homework will start the research necessary for your final homework. For this part you are to develop the following information for your community:
• The community's name (a community can be apolitical subdivision, a military base, or even a local event)
• Community boundaries (Make these as clear as possible and identifiable on a map)
• Why does that community exist? (Detail the reason for being a community, Tourism, Agriculture, Services, Commuting, Education, etc.)

This homework will continue the research necessary for your final homework. For this part you are to develop the following information for your community:
• What is the climate and weather found in your community?
• Describe the Topography of your community? (Include anything that might be a particular hazard)
• What is the population and demographics for your community? Are there any ethnic or other groups that might be either a particular risk or at risk from a threat group?
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
• The answer must be using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, and typed, with one-inch margins on all sides.
• The response also includes a cover page containing the student's name, the title of the homework, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
• Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
