Problem: Do you think that they only or best way to promote prosocial (i.e., peaceful, cooperative, mutually beneficial) behaviour is to convince people that it is in their best interest and personal advantage to engage in such behaviour? What do you think this means for normative theories like utilitarianism and Kantian ethics (both of which require, at least under certain conditions, selfless behaviour)?
