These are business Strategy Questions. Those Familiar with Business Strategy should be able to complete them rather quickly.
1.Refer to the last page of the Porters "Five Forces" article and complete an industry analysis on Amazon (or you may pick another company if you would like - I think that is one we discussed but might be mistaken.)
2.Refer to the 'fit' section of the "What Is Strategy"(HBR) article and create a network MAP of a 2nd or 3rd order fit company. Again, you can use Amazon if you would like. Just determine 2-3 key activities to build the network of reinforcing activities - refer to the examples in the paper. You can use a mindmap software program to create this or you can draw it and scan it.
