Discussion Post: Sociology
Choose one of the following prompts and, considering what you have learned from your text and/or other relevant course materials, respond to it in at least one full paragraph of 200-400 words.
Online students must additionally respond to the submissions of at least two other students in no less than 100 words each.
1) What is something that you used to consider "deviant" but now consider acceptable? How did your beliefs change?
2) What is something you think should be illegal that is currently legal, or should be legal but is currently illegal? Why do you think society should, or should not, sanction it through the law?
3) Are you, or have you ever been, a member of a subculture or counterculture? How did you experience the judgments of other members of society?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
