Find an Anchor Chart that is appropriate for an elementary classroom. Copy a picture of the image of the anchor chart using "snipping tool" (this can be downloaded from the Chrome Extension store.
Copy and paste the Anchor chart into a document.
Answer the following questions about the Anchor Chart that you selected:
A. Is this topic/skill related to an essential or power standard for my class? List the standard.
B. Is this topic/skill something that students tend to struggle with each year? Explain in 2 sentences.
C. Will we be coming back to this topic or skill regularly throughout the year? How so? What will be your specific routine?
D. Am I going to want students to connect new learning to this topic or skill?
E. What is something that you learned before that might further extend/scaffold their learning?
F. Will this anchor chart help my classroom to run more smoothly? How will this anchor chart add to classroom procedures (be it learning or processes and movement around the classroom).
