• I would like you to compare and contrast your weekend activities from this past weekend (with corona-induced restrictions and safety precautions) to a typical weekend prior to COVID-19 (i.e., life without corona-induced restrictions and safety precautions). Reflect on how they are similar and/or different. Next, discuss how these two sets of weekends vary in terms of lifestyle-exposure theory AND routine activities theory. Stated differently, I am wanting you to evaluate your risk of victimization from each of these two main theories by reflecting on two weekends that most likely had differing vocational activities, leisure activities, and exposure (i.e., lifestyle-exposure theory), as well as varying routine activities and opportunities for victimization created by the intersection of motivated offenders, suitable targets, and weak guardianship (i.e., routine activities theory).
