a) Name and business of the company, main products it handles and whether the market it serves is local, national or international.
b) What is the type and frequency of the main inputs and products that are purchased by the company. They must be at least 10 (if the company does not handle that amount, you must choose another company).
c) Products or supplies that are more difficult to acquire and the reason for said difficulty.
d) How is the purchasing department organized? Includes the organization chart of the purchasing area. If there is no such department, what area of the company is in charge of purchasing?
e) Based on the above, determine if the company has a centralized or decentralized model in its purchases. Justify why you think so.
f) What is the procedure followed by this company for making purchases? Document it and make an outline of it, explaining each step well.
