We can divide methods for disposing of the body into two main categories: those that preserve the body or part of the body and those that result in complete disappearance of the body. Is there any correlation between these two categories and how a religion views death and the afterlife? What is the most prevalent form of bodily disposal in your community? Discuss how it is related to the predominant religious beliefs. Are there any other factors to consider, such as, the physical environment, that also play a significant role in what happens to the bodies of the deceased?
