Question 1: What is meant by the term "Sustainable Development"?

Question 2: The UN Global Compact has been described as the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. Describe any FOUR (4) of the principles of the UN Global Compact and explain how they are relevant to sustainability and business.

Question 4: From your reading and research, summarize the approach taken by an organisation with which you are familiar.

Question 6: Explain what is meant by the term "ecological footprint" and why this is an important and useful concept.

Question 7: Describe the main elements of your own ecological footprint and what actions you have taken, or can take, to reduce it.

Question 8: Name and define the FIVE (5) forms of capital. Briefly describe how each of the forms could apply to the fashion clothing industry (i.e. manufacturing and retail of fashion apparel) and briefly describe how each form of capital could be maintained or enhanced.

Question 9: In March, 2016, it was revealed that doctors at the Commonwealth Bank's insurance business, CommInsure, had been pressured to change their assessments of customers so that insurance claim payouts could be avoided.

Question 10: As a result, although customers had paid their policies, they were faced with having their claim denied because of a technical issue in their time of need.

Question 11: Identify the network of stakeholders affected by these events and discuss the implications of this situation for the various stakeholders involved. Discuss the conflict between different stakeholder's needs in this situation and consider whether any group should be considered more favorably than another.
