Read the essay by Paul Gray "What is Love?"
In his article, Gray claims: "Like the universe, the more we learn about love, the more preposterous and mysterious it is likely to appear" (3).
He also states: "Romance is real. It is not merely a conceit; it is bred into our biology" (1).
After reading the article, decide if you agree with his thesis and other main points in the article. Next, write a thesis statement regarding studying love scientifically. Do you agree love can be a subject of scientific study? Why or why not? Do you believe love is biologically ingrained or culturally maintained?
