Does E.coli go through any of these processes, Dextrose/Glucose, Indol, Lactose fermentation, mannitol fermentation, nitrate reduction, starch hydrolysis, gelatin hydrolysis? Is it positive or negative for each. What is the size, pigmentation, form, margins, & elevation of E. coli? Is it positive or negative for a gram stain? Is it positive or negative for a endospore stain? Is it positive or negative for a acid-fast? What is it's shape Cocci, Bacilli, or Pleomorphic? What is it's arrangement Strep, Staph, Single, Pairs, Tetrads, or Others?
