Problem
One of the main focuses this week was the development of Christianity and Islam. Look at these two religions comparatively. What features or history do Islam and Christianity share? Why do they have these similarities? What is different about the religions? Why did these differences arise? Finally, why did it only took Islam a century to spread throughout the Arabian Peninsula, Middle East, and North Africa, while it took Christianity several centuries to dominate the Roman Empire.
