Assignment:
Pick a country (any country, EXCEPT the US, Germany, China or Nigeria) and do a relatively brief energy profile of it. You'll want to answer:
- What kind of primary energy resources does it have? (oil, NG, coal, uranium, solar potential, wind potential, geothermal potential, etc.)
- Are they a net importer or exporter of energy? Where do they import from or export to?
- What is the current electricity mix? In other words, how do they make electricity?
- Does your country subsidize energy? How?
- Does the country have any policies in regards to Climate change? Energy Efficiency?
- Which of the countries we've profiled in class so far does your country most resemble (US, Germany, China or Nigeria?). Explain why. It could be a combo of several of these countries, or none of them. The important thing is to justify your answer.
Your answer must be in 3 to 5 pages, typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman font (size 12), one-inch margins on all sides, APA format.
