What is Angle Pairs?
Two angles are adjacent angles if they have the same vertex and share one side. Vertical angles are a pair of nonadjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines. Two angles are complementary angles if the sum of their measures is 90°. Complementary angles are not necessarily adjacent.
Two angles are supplementary angles if the sum of their measures is 180°. Supplementary angles are not necessarily adjacent.
A transversal is a line that intersects two or more lines at two or more different points. The region between the two lines is the interior of the figure. The rest of the plane is the exterior. Alternate interior angles are interior angles that are on opposite sides of the transversal, and do not share a vertex.
These angles form a "Z."
Corresponding angles are angles in which one angle is an interior angle, and the other angle is an exterior angle. The angles are on the same side of the transversal and do not have the same vertex. These angles form an "F."
