• In a paragraph, describe a parable (religious or non-religious) that you remember hearing or reading. Why do you remember it and what do you remember being its message if any? If you are unfamiliar with any parables, what is a folk story you remember hearing and what do you remember about it?
• Does the father lie to the children in the "Parable of the Burning House"? If so, does it matter? Why or why not?
