What is a definition of leadership

Discuss the below:

I believe that leadership is broad and occurs when we don't even think about it. It might be forced upon oneself at the drop of a dime or it can be something a human being does for a living. I believe it can be life changing and is a growing experience that can change your mind and the outlook you have on the world, ideas, and other people for example. With this small concept and short examples I've given I will be able to expand these ideas I believe in to show you what my definition of leadership is.

Sometimes leadership can naturally occur, and sometimes leadership is forced upon oneself. But I truly think that is one of the great things about leadership! It's something that regardless if you may want it to happen or not, will without a doubt grow you as a person. Leadership is putting yourself in a position to overcome an obstacle, idea, or anything else that means you are coordinating, organizing and leading a group of others to achieve the goal at hand.

Leadership is something that will forever change a person. It makes you have to open up; listen, and pay close attention to detail. You'll be having to listen to ideas from others when coordinating an action plan for whatever it may be, and then sorting out a conclusion with meticulous detail to put into play. Leadership can make you a better person and open yourself up to ideas in the world that you may have never thought of if it weren't for leading a movement of some kind.

For a small concept, I mean that in the sense that I believe that leadership can be a movement with a large crowd, or it can just be a daily occurrence. For example a schoolteacher, they lead a class of young growing minds. Everyday they put in the work necessary to ensure that the students are getting the education they deserve. To me that is leadership, there of course can be other definitions and examples but just as a quick answer, the above details define leadership for me

The definition of leadership can have many different meanings. The first way I would like to describe leadership is the act of setting yourself apart from the crowd. To be a leader, it takes courage to set yourself aside from everyone else and not having the fear of walking alone. To partake in the act of leadership, one needs to be an actual leader so I do believe that in describing what it takes to be a leader, you are then describing the act of leadership. A leader is someone who can lead a group, organization, person, party, country, etc. When a person can lead others, they are partaking in the act of leadership. I also believe leadership is the act of bringing others together to accomplish a common goal or task. In order to bring people together to accomplish a common goal, leadership requires a set vision, outlook, and expectation.

Leadership requires someone who can impact others to help make a change. In order to make that change, leadership takes commitment, confidence, and positivity. Leadership also takes someone who is intelligent, good at communicating with others, charismatic, trusting, open-minded, informed, enthusiastic, and someone who is good at listening. In order to lead people, people need to trust in what you are telling them. You can be as courageous as you possibly can, but unless you're demonstrating to people clear outcomes and results, they will not trust you. Lastly, leadership requires heart. Someone needs to fully believe and invest in what they believe in, they need to have a strong sense of self, and portray strong values and beliefs.
