As you will learn this week, there are two (2) methods for developing a referral tracking process. A practice can either use a COMPUTER tracking system or a manual tracking system. It is important for medical practices to track referrals; however, the method of referral tracking should be chosen with the goal of growing a practice in mind.

1. What is a computer referral tracking system? What is a manual referral tracking system? Why are they necessary for any medical practice?
