Military Computing
In this chapter, we discussed the use of high-level technology in the U.S. military. Review the computer science programs at the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and the U.S. Naval Academy. What specific courses or paths of study do these institutions have that are specific to military settings? What information do the department Web sites provide on why an understanding of computers matters to the military? How would this training support a transition from a military career to the civilian workplace?
