Composers like Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827), Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) are all names you've heard of, and attending a concert of their music would certainly fulfill the basic requirements of this assignment. However, you could also attend concerts of John Williams (1932), Michael Giacchino (born 1967), Jonny Greenwood (born 1971), and David Newman (born 1954) who are all living film composers.
What I'm Looking for in Your Essay: Tell me what you are seeing and where. Where is the venue? What does it look like? What kind of people are there? Who are the performers? What are they performing? What are their instruments? Is there a visual element like a movie or a dancer? Does the music sound disjointed and harsh? Or does it sound soothing and calm? Or does it sound like something you've never heard 2 before? Who are the composers? How do you feel when you listen to this music? What does this music remind you of? Don't answer these questions as if they were short answer questions. I will immediately deduct many points if you write in this style.
