Drawing on the history and the legacy of Racism in the development of the U.S. in order to justify oppression and using specific examples from the readings as well as the films and class discussion, please answer the following question in a well thought out and elaborated essay. Why was the legal structure of the U.S. created this way and what role have Chicanos played in this system? How has the creation of whiteness and the Ideology of White Supremacy as well as Primitive Accumulation (Capitalism) impacted Chicanos throughout the 20th century? What role did whiteness and the law play in the Bracero Program and the Educational System for Chicanos?
