What is it realistic to expect from a democracy? What is it unrealistic to expect? What happens when expectations are unrealistic? (With quotation marks and page numbers!). Be a good teacher.
Interact, keep people awake, explain the main idea and MAKE SURE THEY UNDERSTAND.
Have a follow up assignment to check understanding. Have discussion questions, agree/disagree debates, etc.
