What happened with weak chemical interactions

Problem:

Through chemical analysis, it has been shown that the major constituents of cells are carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids. These molecules are assembled into sub-cellular organelles with distinct structures and functions. In the course of assembling these macromolecules, weak chemical interactions are believed to play essential roles in spramacromolecular assembly.

(i). What are these weak chemical interactions?

(ii) Using proper examples to illustrate why these weak chemical interactions are responsible for the "Supramolecular Assembly of Macromolecules" in the cell.

Any ideas? Or better yet, pointers to places where this has already been answered?
