She reports low back pain for several years. Her past medical history contains only one fracture of her right arm at the age of approximately nine.

Additionally, she tells you that the knee pain is gradually getting worse. She's here today because her daughter insisted that she go after she couldn't get up from her flower garden and had to crawl in the house. She reports that her right side of the body is most painful and troublesome. She reports a 10-pound weight gain over the last four months which she attributes to decreased activity. Her joints are most painful during rainy days and in the morning or after sitting for a length of time. But she said she loosens up after a period of activity. She's led a very active life and had a long history of horseback riding. She denies redness swelling or heat at the joint. She reports that her back pain is stable and really hasn't gotten any worse. She denies numbness tingling weakness or shooting pains in her legs. She states that on rare occasion she takes aspirin 325 mg for pain. She is not taking any medication at this time.
