Problem:
The goal of this activity is to analyze how collaboration, coordination, and communication are supported in video appointments/telemedicine/telepresence. During the pandemic, healthcare institutions made significant changes in how they see patients. Telemedicine, or video appointments, allows individuals to talk with a provider regardless of location if they have a reliable internet connection.
Interaction design issues a. What form of interaction and communication is supported?' Text, audio and video. b. What are the differences between video appointments done via personal computer and video appointments done via smartphone or tablet? c. Are there any social phenomena that occur specific to the context of video appointments that wouldn't happen in face-to-face settings?
