Discussion Thread: Am I Cut Out for This?
You are now a doctoral student and, as your textbook has pointed out, you are on a journey. Often, journeys into the unknown or unfamiliar generate fear and uncertainty. This is very much the case for students as they set out on the doctoral journey. I would like us to use this discussion to talk about those fears and concerns. How are you viewing the journey ahead? What fears or concerns do you have about this endeavor? Do you feel any measure of excitement as well? How much confidence do you have in completing the journey?
