1. Find an article you like about another country (NOT the U.S.) on www.nytimes.com. Read it and print it out. I need it as a full copy.
2. Answer the below questions about the article.
3. Highlight the country the article discusses on the map (if it's multiple countries -- indicate it somehow). Sometimes the article was written someplace different than the country it discusses -- color in the country discussed. (you will find the maps uploaded as well)
4. Repeat five times on different countries (OTHER THAN U.S.A.)
5. Provide me with everything when it's done; the 5 original articles, the five questions sheets (answered), and the maps (highlighted).

What event is the article discussing (summarize in about 4-5 sentences)? I just asked "who" it was about. Now think about "what, where, why, and how."

In 1-3 sentences, how did the article make you feel? Is there anything in the article that is relatable, or is it just sort of an obscure event occurring somewhere far away?
