To a conclusion on which estimating technique would you use for each scenario
a) You have won a contract and will have to adhere to the contract. You therefore will need the most accurate estimate of time and cost. Which technique would you use?
b) Its 8:30 a.m. and as the project manager the executive contacts you and wants an estimate on the project you just started planning. What is the best (quickest) estimating technique?
c) You are a project manager just finished a project and happy to take a few days off when the phone rings - the executive want you to start a new project next Monday and, knowing you ae burnt out, tell you its just another upgrade and you have done6 of these before so it will be easy. What estimating technique would you use?
