Think about the events in the articles. Choose one of the events, and discuss the following:
o Which event did you select? Had you heard of this event before you read the article? If so, what was your previous knowledge of this event?
o What do you think went wrong at this event?
o Who do you think was at fault, and why?
o What do you think could or should have been done differently to mitigate risk and prevent or lessen the severity of this tragedy?
o Have you ever been to an event and experienced conditions you thought were unsafe? Describe your experience.
o Research online to see what else you can learn about an event manager's responsibility regarding safety and security at events, and share what you learn.
o Provide examples of effective steps taken and/or examples when effective steps were not taken, and what resulted.
The response should include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
