Problem: Ending Poverty in US
Geoffrey Canada's approach to ending poverty in the U.S. has gained a lot of success. In fact, many schools and districts are basing their school reform efforts on his model. Research and examine Dr. Canada's philosophy and the school's expectations, community/parental involvement, and the plethora of services which are provided to students throughout their education. Additionally, research schools that have adopted the Harlem Children's Zone's philosophy. What elements have they adopted? How successful have they been?
