1. Go to the library and select a journal article that represents work in your field of interest. Apply each of the criteria that we specified in this chapter (see the section titled "Criteria for Judging a Research Study"). To make this exercise even more interesting, work on the task with a colleague, or select the same journal article as a colleague and compare your results.
