Problem
As you know, the Earth's atmospheric temperature is currently rising. Snow is retreating earlier at high latitudes, trees and shrubs are leafing out earlier, and insects and other small invertebrates are emerging earlier. What effect will that have on migratory songbirds that have been migrating from Central and South America to North America for thousands of years, especially for birds whose migratory timing cannot easily change?
