Consumers gained better control over their personal data when the General Data Protection Regulation became enforceable on May 25, 2018. Hence, the ways in which businesses migrate their data to the cloud as part of their digital transformation is getting more and more regulatory attention as cloud computing becomes more widespread. There are a number of important considerations businesses should take when opting to migrate from on-premise infrastructure to a cloud-based solution.
What effect has GDPR had on cloud computing? Provide a brief explanation of how GDPR has changed the face of cloud adoption.
