One important economic issue we are facing is the increase of prices for goods all throughout the US. Working for a small business has really shown me that the increasing prices for even just little things is really hurting businesses. With businesses not being able to afford things for their shops, they may be forced to shut down which can then lead to less job opportunities for that area.

I believe the biggest economical issue that is effecting the global economy now is the rippling effects that the Russia Ukraine was is having. Even though the United States isn't directly involved with this conflict, we still feel the effects of this war as it effects many supply chains throughout Europe and Asia. This effect on the supply chain effects almost everything as international goods and price increase and causes many shortages of goods. The most apparent change for me is how gas prices has almost doubled by the time I have started driving, caused mainly by the increase of international crude oil prices.
