In both the first video assigned: Indigenous Traditions (called "Understanding Aboriginal Identity") and in the last video assigned (called Artist Interview-Kent Monkman"*), interviewees state something to the effect that aboriginal populations have not gone away-"We are still here." What does this suggest about the study and treatment of aboriginal communities in the past, and what this means for the future?
