Take a look at this image. It is from the first or second century CE, and it was produced in Gandhara. The hands have been damaged, but otherwise it has survived reasonably intact. What elements of this, if anything, might suggest a Hellenistic influence? What does this statue tell you about the intent of the artist and the time period?
