Assignment: Industry Review & Analysis
Each student will thoroughly analyze an industry of his/her choice. The report should include a thoughtful analysis of the historic, current, and projected performance of the industry using any frameworks, tools, and concepts from well-known scholars and practitioners as a way to assess future performance. At a minimum, you should identify major characteristics related to the industry, such as history, size, stakeholders, competitive landscape, profitability, trends, regulatory environment, use of technology, etc. Based on your analysis; provide a summary that addresses the major performance issues, constraints, and critical success factors for the industry.
The complete paper should be about eight pages, contain a table of contents, and cite at least 10 different sources. Please write using simple grammar and words.

Questions that should be answered in your paper
o Why does the industry exist, and how long has it existed?
o How much revenue does it generate (percent of GNP, etc.)?
o Who are the primary stakeholders?
o Where is the industry in its lifecycle?
o What does the competitive landscape look like?
o Are there segments, and is there an untapped market?
o Is there an obsolete function in the industry?
o Can anything (e.g. regulation, technology) disrupt the industry?
o What problems need solutions, and is the industry ready for rejuvenation?
o What would you be "thinking" if you were the captain of the industry?
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
