This book review will require you to read a book. The assignment is to read the book and produce a four (4) to seven (7) page report on the book?. Some guidelines for the format of the paper are on the handout sheet.

The first part of the paper will be a synopsis of the book, telling me what the plot concerns. The second, and largest, part is a review of main ideas as stated by the author.

The third and last part is a critical analysis of the author's main ideas.

Then, and only then, may you briefly state your opinion, on the article, with basis. This is, however, optional. Here are some questions to keep in mind when reading the book and writing the drafts.

What does the author claim? How is history handled? Are his arguments supported?

How are they supported? Do they make sense? Is he believable? Does the author have a bias?
