What does that suggest to us in terms of how we lead an it

Kaplan and LeRouge (2007) summarize several articles from their special issue on human resource management of IT workers. This article gives us some insight into IT workers and how they may differ from the general worker. The authors suggest there is something different here. What does that suggest to us in terms of how we lead an IT organization made up of IT workers/professionals?

Choose a leader of whom you have personal knowledge. Describe this leader and her or his leadership style. Was this a successful leadership style for the leader's context (IT or non-IT)? (Consider how "success" might be defined.) Do you believe the leadership style would have been successful in a different context (i.e., if this was an IT leader, would the style have been successful with non-IT workers or vice versa)?
