Discussion Post: Nursing Leadership-Emotional Intelligence
Nursing is about being able to connect with your patients and families. At times this may require the nurse to practice "emotional intelligence". What does it truly mean to practice "emotional intelligence"? How should we practice "emotional intelligence" and why is it important? These are questions I have have been asked throughout my educational journey in nursing.
